FAQ
Are there discounted conditions for non-profit organizations?
All customers of the FundraisingBox are committed to a good cause and are usually non-profit organizations. Our price structure is fair and ensures you the latest technology and data security. Measured against the prices, the product scope is considerable, with many advantages and features included, the usefulness and value of which may only be revealed later. Furthermore, there are no "hidden" costs such as surcharges above a certain transaction volume.
What is the transaction fee?
The transaction fee is charged for each incoming donation. We charge 1% of the donation amount plus 0.15 euros per transaction. The transaction fee is generally due for individual and permanent donations that were processed via the FundraisingBox Payment Cloud. There is no transaction fee for manually created and imported transactions (e.g. bank transfer, cash donation, etc.) if a separate payment method is used. The transaction fee is billed monthly.
When will the access be made available?
Our team will provide your access as soon as possible. You will usually receive an email with activation information on the same or the next working day.
Is there an enrollment? Can I set up the FundraisingBox myself?
The FundraisingBox is designed for self-installation. After booking online, you will have access to your FundraisingBox and you can add other team members, who each log in with their own password. You configure forms yourself, data can be imported into the optional CRM or entered manually, and are of course automatically created for online donations. The extensive help center and the support included in the price are available for all questions. If necessary, you are welcome to book individual training courses with us, please do not hesitate to contact us!
When will the access be made available?
After the setup, you will receive an email from us with an activation link. With this you can activate your FundraisingBox. If you have not received a message within 24 hours (on weekdays), please check your spam folder. If no e-mail has been received here, please inform us.
How is the billing done?
Your invoice amount is to be paid in advance annually for 12 months plus setup plus the currently applicable VAT. The first payment is due when the order is placed.
Is the FundraisingBox Essentials variant really free?
Die Essentials-Variante der FundraisingBox hat keine monatlichen Fixkosten. Sie zahlen lediglich vier Prozent der Transaktionssumme als Transaktionsgebühren - die Kosten sind also direkt an Ihre Fundraising-Erfolge gekoppelt. Die verschiedenen an der Transaktion beteiligten Zahlungsdienstleister erheben unterschiedliche Transaktionsgebühren.
Do I make commitments with the free FundraisingBox?
No. Since there are only costs when you collect donations, you only pay as long as you actually collect donations.
Is the FundraisingBox safe?
Yes, the FundraisingBox meets the strictest security criteria. We operate the FundraisingBox in state-of-the-art certified data centers in Germany. In addition, we guarantee complete data protection and legally secure data storage within the meaning of the General Data Protection Regulation and exclusively in the context of the fulfillment of the contract. The FundraisingBox uses the latest technologies and standard banking procedures to encrypt your data during transmission. The FundraisingBox uses SSL and TLS protocols for this purpose. The FundraisingBox complies with the requirements of PSD2 and uses strong customer authentication (SCA). The FundraisingBox is also PCI-certified.
