The Cookie Labs Digital Fundraising with Stiftung Deutsche Sporthilfe

Gamification with Stiftung Deutsche Sporthilfe

The Stiftung Deutsche Sporthilfe (German Sports Aid Foundation) was looking for an idea through which it could draw attention to its work and reach new target groups by digital means. Together with us, the concept for an online game was developed. It enables people to interact together despite a ban on contact, to have fun and at the same time to support the sponsorship work of Deutsche Sporthilfe through play. In the game, players can demonstrate their dexterity in three different modes: Running, Jumping and Tracking. It is played very simply in the browser or on smartphones and tablets.

The online donation form of the FundraisingBox was directly integrated into the online game. For this purpose, we used an intelligent interface to convert the achieved game result into a donation amount and transfer it directly to the form. This created a direct link between the game and the donation, which not only rounds off the user experience, but also encourages "finger-sporting" top performances.

The Cookie Labs for Germany United

Become part of the "big picture" #germanyunited

Germany United is another project of the German Sports Aid Foundation that aims to give Germany a new sense of unity after a tough year with the pandemic.

Users can become part of this project by uploading a selfie of themselves on our platform and thereby joining the "Germany United Team "led by big names from sports like Dirk Nowitzki, Jürgen Klopp, Malaika Mihambo, Franziska van Almsick and many others.

In this project, we designed and implemented both the project landing page and the entire photo upload process: - including an AI that adapts submitted images in real time to the final "Germany United Visual", so that each participant receives a personalized team image, thus becoming part of a "big whole". In this case, we also relied on a native integration of the fundraising box donation form, with which users can send their financial support to the German Sports Aid Foundation (also via sharing options).
